      Susan Boyce's sunny voice is well suited to this warm, humorous take on the Cinderella story. Linc Blaise, stuffed (but very handsome) shirt, needs a pretend fiancée to land his dream college teaching job. Daisy Flattery, lovable flake with a man-melting smile and a talent for telling tall tales, needs an influx of dough. From there the romantic sparks fly. Although Boyce's portrayals of the various characters have little vocal differentiation, her effective use of pauses and her well-acted delivery make this a most enjoyable listening experience, full of likable characters and snappy dialogue.
