Nelson (If We Make It Home) intertwines the lives of four women struggling to deal with motherhood and faith in this moving story. When tragedy strikes the Connors and Owens families, Izzy ends up at A Child’s Home, a home for women with unplanned pregnancies. Stacey Meyers and her husband, Keith, are still grieving the loss of their first child after she starts volunteering at A Child’s Home and meets Izzy. As the women connect at the home, they learn to deal with the pain and grief from their pasts and look forward to what God has in store for their futures. This emotional, affecting story deals with realistic aspects of pregnancy and will make a great selection for book clubs or as a conversation starter for mothers and daughters.
